The Story of SlapDrum
SlapDrum was founded in 2001 when I made my first drum and shared
it with a professional musician friend of mine. My background as a graduate from California Polytechic University with a degree in Mechanical/Material Engineering and my career in Product Development, gave me the ability to create am amazing sound. I was encouraged to make more by the musicians that played them and I have done so and shared these instuments for more than 20 years.
Musicians, whether professional, performers in local church worship groups, school bands, garage bands, after school programs, summer camps, classrooms instuctors, etc. have played a variery of SlapDrum instruments and it's been such a pleasant and rewarding experience
to share with such a wonderul community of people.
